Gradient Wind has its origins in 1996 as a local consulting company in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Through decades of hard work and continuous innovation, the company has grown to a staff of over 40 experienced engineers and technologists, supported with wholly-owned facilities including a modern model fabrication shop, a large-scale atmospheric wind tunnel, and proprietary computer simulation software. Through our reputation for reliability and excellence, we’ve expanded our services to major cities across North America and around the globe.
We bring deep experience to every project we work on, from small, direct-to-client projects, to large, international, multi-faceted developments. Our expertise and services cover all aspects of wind and snow engineering, including damper design and fabrication, thermal analysis, and snow and ice loading of structures, as well as air pollution studies, vibration control, and environmental noise and acoustics.
Everything we do at Gradient Wind is grounded in our passion. We’re dedicated and driven to develop solutions that are innovative, practical, and supported by science. Our team of engineers, scientists, and technologists work closely with each client’s individual challenges and needs. Passion fuels what we do, and when you care as deeply as we do about our work, the results show it.
